Welcome to the last RCR seminar of the year! How do farmers, municipal leaders and social changers react to climate change when new climate goals and policies are introduced? Visiting Professor Jaime Kucinskas, Associate Professor of Sociology at Hamilton College, shares insights and research results.

Title: Comparing Responses to Climate Change across Agricultural Regions of the United States, New Zealand, and Sweden

Visiting Professor at MIUN and Associate Professor of Sociology at Hamilton College Jaime Kucinskas will present early findings from research (with Environmental Scientist Aaron Strong) comparing farmers’, municipal leaders’, and other community changemakers’ responses to climate change at a time when governments are initiating innovative climate targets and policies. She will also share information about her developing research in Jämtland.

The presenter is Jaime Kucinskas and the presentation will be held in English.
