The Photonics lab
The Photonics lab comprises a wide range of lasers and advanced optical characterization instruments used for R&D of compact high power fiber lasers and processing of nanomaterials for large-scale, graphene-based, energy storage applications.
Selection of instruments and equipment:
- Perkin Elmer Lambda 1050 UV/VIS/NIR spectrometer
- Horiba iHR320 monochromator (UV - IR)
- Energetiq LDLS (high power, broad spectrum light source)
- Deuterium/xenon/halogen light sources for spectroscopy
- Fiber coupled spectrometers from VUV to NIR
- Solid state lasers (355/532/1064 nm)
- SCANLAB scanning systems (UV-NIR) for processing of nano-materials
