Digital banking and finance
Digital banking and finance are transforming how individuals and businesses handle their financial transactions, making them faster, more convenient, and accessible. This shift enables seamless management of finances, all through digital platforms.
Background
With the rise of mobile financial services, financial Robo-advisor, and other financial technology solutions, individuals and businesses can conduct financial transactions from anywhere at any time. They are also able to improve financial planning . Moreover, digital banking and finance empower financial inclusion by making financial services available to unbanked individuals. However, digital banking and finance also pose some challenges such as cybersecurity risks and the need for greater financial literacy. As these technologies continue to evolve, it is important for individuals, businesses, and regulators to stay informed about the recent developments.
Through interdisciplinary perspective, and by using theories from business administration and other branches of knowledge, the project aims to answer the following two questions:
- How could financial technology enhance the financial planning of individuals and businesses?
- How cognitive attributes in the form of barriers and barrier-breakers and non-cognitive attributes such as emotions attributes influence individuals’ use of mobile financial services?
