Rumors and Crisis Communication
During crises, rumors and unconfirmed information are common, as there is usually a lack of information, especially at the beginning of an event. This project deals with concerns and rumors during crises and aims to increase knowledge about how rumors can be handled in crisis communication.
Knowledge of rumors that create anxiety and affect crisis communication is insufficient. The overall aim of the project is to concretely increase knowledge about and approach to rumors in the event of concerns and crises. The result should be useful in courses on crisis communication, as well as in practice in planning the practical crisis communication work.
The former project manager for the project was Lars Nord.
