New interface for Miun Discovery and Ebscohost databases
In early 2025, the Ebscohost platform will change the interface for its databases. This means that the library's search service Miun Discovery will look different.
The library's collection also includes several databases on the Ebsco platform that are affected by this, such as Cinahl and Business Source Complete.
Interface improvements: new filter placements and access options
The new interface means a cleaner expression and is more accessible.
Other changes to the interface include the placement of search filters, where the most common filters are located directly below the search box and other filters are found under "All filters", also under the search box. The new Access Options button shows any links to full text and the option to reserve.
Saved material
The biggest change will be for those who have created an Ebsco account where you have saved material in folders. Only material saved in "My Folder" will be migrated to the new interface at this stage. In a later part of the migration (tentatively in April), the other folders will be migrated. If you use the folders "My custom" or "Shared by", you need to move the material to "My folder" to be able to access it during the spring.
