R and RStudio
R is a free and open programming language that is widely used in academia for processing, computing, visualising and presenting data.
R, unlike Excel, for example, can document how you have processed your data and thus increase reproducibility and transparency in line with Open Science. RStudio is a graphic development environment for R.
The library uses R in the production of bibliometric data and can introduce you to basic functionality in terms of data types, import, cleaning, summarization, as well as simple visualization and reporting.
If you are employed at a university and have a Miun-PC, you can install R and RStudio via the Software Center. Otherwise, you can download R and RStudio from posit.co
