Course objectives

Upon completion of the course the student should be able to independently:

  • Formulate and develop theoretical models in computer science based on mathematical and algorithmic principles.
  • Design and conduct experiments to test and validate theoretical assumptions.
  • Analyze and interpret experimental results using statistical and analytical methods.
  • Critically evaluate methodological choices and identify limitations in theoretical and experimental approaches.
  • Document and present research results in a scientific report and oral presentation.
  • Reflect on the work process and relate his / her own work to current research and industrial applications.

Content

The course covers in-depth, project-specific elements based on theories, models and / or experimental methods. The content is defined to the scope and depth of an individual course planning established by the supervisor.

Entry requirements

Admitted to Master by Research in Computer Engineering.

Selection rules and procedures

The selection process is in accordance with the Higher Education Ordinance and the local order of admission.
