Aim
The purpose of the course is to provide the student with knowledge of how theories and methods in electrical engineering can be used in development and analysis of an application. The course is conducted in project form where the student must independently achieve in-depth knowledge in a special area of electrical engineering.
Course objectives
After the course, the student shall be able to:
- Analyze problems based on requirements for a given application
- Based on the application's requirements, formulate technical solutions and requirements to achieve the desired functionality.
- Implement functions so that they meet formulated technical requirements
- Evaluate the implementation with regard to the requirements of the application.

The selection process is in accordance with the Higher Education Ordinance and the local order of admission.
Teaching form
The work effort for the entire course normally comprises 400 hours. This means that in addition to the scheduled time, the student must complete extensive self-study. The number of teaching hours for the specific course opportunity is defined in the schedule.
Examination form
P100: Project, 15 Credits
Grade scale: Seven-grade scale, A, B, C, D, E, Fx and F. Fx and F represent fail levels.
The examination includes a written report.
The grade for the course is based on the results of the project. The project is graded based on: depth, scope, implementation and the quality of the written report.
