Whats the project about
We're building a dream team, and we want YOU! Whether your passion is for numbers, or a knack for understanding people, an ability to tap into emotions, or a drive to create positive behavioural change, we want your unique strengths. Whether you're from business, arts, science, or any faculty, this is your chance to collaborate, innovate, and make an impact. Join us and help shape your future!
How do our lifestyle choices impact our wallets and the planet, both now and in the future? And most importantly, how do they shape our happiness and well-being along the way?
Many people today live with high levels of debt, which creates financial stress and uncertainty. At the same time, mental health issues are on the rise, with anxiety and worry becoming common aspects of daily life. The threat of environmental disasters and climate change further adds to the sense of unease, especially among young people who feel their future is at risk. These factors contribute to a broader sense of imbalance, affecting both individual well-being and the society.
Sustainability is interdisciplinary and many societal challenges are interlinked. Research also shows that personal lifestyle choices play a bigger role on climate impact than previously thought. In this project we shift the focus from the societal level to the individual and how our everyday personal lifestyle choices have an impact, both in the short-term and long-term.
In this project we expect students to work with most sustainability goals (good health and wellbeing, responsible consumption and production, reduced inequalities, decent work and economic growth, no poverty and climate action). We want you to think about your financial and sustainability goals—what does your ideal sustainable lifestyle look like, and how do your personal choices fit into that vision?
