When you register as a student at Mid Sweden University, you are also very welcome to our alumni network, which is a professional network for former or current students of our university.
Mid Sweden University’s alumni activities are open for alumni, i.e. students who have studied at least 7.5 credits (at least one course) at our university. This means that our alumni network consists of an interesting mix of people who have completed their studies some time ago, as well as those who are currently studying or who have just recently completed their studies. As we all know, contacts create opportunities, and through the Miun alumni network, you can stay in touch with your fellow students and the university, and develop valuable new contacts.

By sharing your experiences from your studies and working life, you help us develop our courses and programmes to strengthen the connection to the outside world, which is of benefit to both current students - and to you.
As a member of our alumni network, you will have the opportunity to:
- Make and foster contacts, and search for other alumni in our alumni network
- Get the latest news from research, education and continuing professional development (CPD) from Mid Sweden University
- Search for articles and information in Mid Sweden University’s library also after completing your studies, logging in via our alumni database
- Get help with the preparations when you arrange a reunion for your class/course
- Collaborate with the university: mentorship, guest lectures, participating in industry councils, being part of expert panels, writing a Competence contract, recruiting students for internships, theses or jobs
- Get invitations to alumni meetings, lectures and seminars related to your field of study.
