The seminar is held November 30 at 10–12 am in room P2218, Campus Östersund or online via Zoom.

The seminar is followed by a panel discussion with students from the course "Youth participation, empowerment and inclusion" where the results and their connection with the exit process in the Swedish context are discussed.

Susanne Günther is in semester 7 of the social work program. She will talk about her thesis, which deals with the return of women to their home country after being subjected to sex trafficking. She interviewed professionals in Uganda who support women in their process out of exploitation and back into society.

The theme is important because we live in a world where globalization leads to women from other countries being exposed in our vicinity, but where we rarely know what happens when they must return to their home countries.

A key question is how far our responsibility extends across national borders. That question is highly topical for social work.
