Centre Against Violence
The Centre Against Violence in Jämtland County is a collaboration between all municipalities in Jämtland County. A website for children, adults, professionals and government officials looking for information about violence in close relationships.

Student Health Service
The Student Health Service can be a first initial support for students who are exposed to violence in close relationships. At the Student Health Service, there is knowledge about where the person who is exposed can turn for further help and support.

Occupational health care can be an initial support for employees who are exposed to violence in close relationships. They have knowledge of where the victim can turn for further help and support.

Social services in your municipality
Can provide advice, support and protection for those who are exposed to violence in close relationships and those who perpetrate violence. Keep in mind that not all employees may live in the municipality where the business is located. Contact information for the Social Services can be found on the website of each municipality. The Women's Peace Line
Anyone who is subjected to violence can call Kvinnofridslinjen around the clock. Anyone who is a relative, friend, colleague or manager of someone who has been subjected to violence is also welcome to call. It is free to call and the phone call will not be visible on the phone bill.

Police
Report crimes in close relationships, or contact emergency services in the event of ongoing violence. The police's task is to prevent and intervene against crime. The police can also take measures to protect those who are at risk of being exposed to threats and violence.

The men's support line
The men's helpline is a national helpline for those who have been subjected to threats and violence in close relationships or sexual violence. Relatives and professionals are also welcome to call the line. The call costs nothing and does not appear on the phone bill.

A support line for adult transgender people, including non-binary people, who have been subjected to intimate partner violence or sexual abuse. The call is free of charge and you are anonymous when you call.

Choose to stop is a national telephone line for those who want help to change a controlling or violent behaviour. Here you can talk anonymously with an advisor who has extensive experience in these issues. Here you will get support and advice, they can also help you move on to treatment if you want and need.
