Senior lecturer Fredrik Nyman releases new book on lung diseases among the elderly

On 6 November, Fredrik Nyman, senior lecturer in social work at the Department of Psychology and Social Work, PSO, will release a book about lung diseases in older people.

The book, "Breathlessness and Biosociality: An Ethnographic Perspective on Living with Lung Disease in Later Life", touches on the profound changes that medical diagnoses entail, as well as their effects on personal relationships and social contexts.

In connection with the book release, which will take place in room O213 in Östersund, 6 November 15:15-17:00, there will be a book discussion between Fredrik Nyman and Christina "Titti" Melin-Johansson, professor of nursing at Mid Sweden University. The conversation will be moderated by Sabine Gruber, professor of social work at Mid Sweden University.  There will also be time for the audience to ask questions.
