New Sickness Management from Nov 1, 2024

Tue 29 Oct 2024 09:51

Swedish Public Employment Service (SSC) has revised the sickness management process for Primula users. Submit your medical certificate by the 8th day of sick leave to avoid payroll debt. This change is effective from November 1, 2024.

Sjuk, förkyld

If you return to work within 14 days of your sick leave, you should report yourself as healthy in Primula under the "Sick leave" section. If you are on sick leave for a longer period, we must register an end date for your sick leave according to the medical certificate. You must send your medical certificate to your Head of department no later than the 8th day of your sick leave.

In the future, your sick leave absence will be deducted in the current month, not the following month.

It is important that during your sick leave you maintain ongoing communication with your Head of department and submit a new medical certificate as soon as there is a change. This may include extensions, changes in scope, changes in period, etc.

If you have questions regarding your payslip or reporting issues in Primula, contact Statens Service Center, either through a case in the Swedish Public Employment Service portal or their telephone support at 0771-456 000.
