Information about personal data breach
The National Government Service Center has informed Mid Sweden University that a technical error has occurred during an update of the Primula payroll system linked to the withdrawal of the holiday balance report.
The technical error resulted in managers being given information about all employees at the authority when extracting the report, i.e. not just a report for the people they would have the authority to access. Others with a role that enables the withdrawal of holiday balance reports have also had the same opportunity.
This includes information relating to personal identity numbers, first and last names, as well as holiday balances and organisational units. The information has only been handled by people within Mid Sweden University and has not been disclosed externally.
The error has now been fixed by the National Government Service Center.
