The visit had been coordinated by Professor Koustov Dalal at the Department of Health Sciences, who, in connection with the event, launched a new research report. The report, which concerns health challenges related to stubble burning in India, is a result of collaboration between Mid Sweden University and the Indian Institute of Technology in Ropar, India.

During the day, Mr. Rakesh Kumar Tiwari met large parts of Mid Sweden University's management. During the visit to the Sundsvall campus, he also gained insight into parts of the activities at both the research centre and the two faculties.
