Glenn Svedin new head of department at HSV

On 1 July, Glenn Svedin, Senior Lecturer in History, will take the position of Head of Department at the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences. Glenn is currently Deputy Head of Department.
According to Mid Sweden University's rules of procedure, the dean appoints the head of department after consultation with the Vice-Chancellor and the staff at the department. Acting Dean Sandra Wall Reinius has decided to appoint Glenn Svedin as Head of the Department for the period 2024-07-01–2028-06-30.
Glenn succeeds Pär Olausson, who will take the position as Dean of the Faculty of Human Sciences on 1 July.
