The seminar is aimed at researchers at the beginning of their careers (less than 8 years since their PhD, see the entry requirements below) who work at MIUN and are interested in going abroad to strengthen their research careers or to external researchers who want to develop their research at Mid Sweden University. Mid Sweden University has many high-profile research environments and world-class research infrastructures.

During the seminar, we will go through the application process and how to write a successful application. Contact grantsoffice@miun.se to register for the event on May 16 (online) at 9.15-12.00.

What does the scholarship offer?
Opportunities to work on personal research projects by moving between countries and possibly sectors to acquire new skills. The mobility can be within or outside the EU, or to attract foreign researchers to work in the EU. The grant covers two years' salary, a mobility allowance, research costs and overhead for the host institution.

Who can apply?
Individual researchers together with the host organisation. The requirement is that the researcher holds a doctoral degree with no more than 8 years of experience after completing the doctoral degree (with a deduction for time not spent on research, e.g. teaching assignments, parental leave). If you are a citizen or have long-term residence rights in an EU or associated country, time spent outside Europe can also be deducted, but it must be well documented. For external researchers, you may only have worked or lived in Sweden for less than one year during the last three years.

The seminar is open to applicants who meet the above entry requirements. If you are not currently associated with MIUN, you will need to identify a potential MIUN supervisor who is willing to support the application.

Application Deadline for MSCA PF
