Show off Mid Sweden University during Open House
On 27 September, we celebrate Mid Sweden University's 20th anniversary with open houses for the public on both campuses. Help us show the university from its best side!
On Saturday 27 September at 11–13, we will arrange an Open House for the public on campuses in both Sundsvall and Östersund, on the same day and time.
The event is an important part of Mid Sweden University's 20th anniversary and is arranged in connection with the annual science festival ForskarFredag (Researcher's Nigth).
The event is primarily aimed at families with children and young people. The aim is to make the university and our activities visible, but also to provide a positive experience for our future students and researchers.
All activities will be of the "look-touch-try-experience" type, where visitors can try everything from lab environments to art walks. We hope that you who are researchers and employees at our departments, educational programmes, divisions, research centres and forums would like to participate and arrange a station where visitors can take part in your activities. The activities can also be competitions like we had at the open house for high school students. We focus on the strengths and attractive environments that exist on each campus.
We plan to offer simple fika through our campus restaurants and collaborate with the municipalities on certain activities and marketing.
We will not give any lectures, seminars or presentations this time.
