The migration process for Canvas is underway!

Before the autumn semester, it's time to start building course rooms in Canvas! If you have used Moodle, you can get help to transfer course content. Once the content has been transferred to Canvas, you can continue working in a sandbox environment or order separate construction course rooms.

As a teacher, you can now start building your course rooms in Canvas for the autumn. You will shortly receive the latest template automatically sent as a new sandbox. You know you have the latest template in Canvas by looking at the globe.

You can also get help moving course content, such as question banks or quizzes, from Moodle. Follow the instructions to get started building your course room right now.

Please note that you need to order a resource course room, a copy of the course rooms in Moodle you want to have migrated, and then in this resource room weed out what is not to be moved, so that the deletion is complete before the migration takes place. Remember not to use the learning platform as an archive for files or other material. Use other suitable repair surfaces for such material. If it is material that you are going to collaborate on with others, Teams or a shared folder on M: can be good alternatives. In Canvas, you will then receive a copy to start building with as a sandbox, or if you want to order separate construction course rooms. More details can be found in the link below.

Logging in to Canvas has also changed, starting Monday 7 April, MFA will no longer be needed. This means you don't need to use Microsoft Authenticator when you sign in to Canvas.
