Keys and the Miun tag
For access to the university's premises, you as an employee have a key and Miun tag
To gain access to Mid Sweden University's premises, you as an employee receive your own key and a Miun tag. Which buildings and premises you have access to is determined by which department/division you belong to.
MIUN tag
Service centers are responsible for distributing and administering Miun tags. If you need to extend your access, on your Miun tag, the Service Center needs to get approval from your manager. If you have questions regarding Miun-tag, please contact the Service Center.
Key
The caretaker's office is responsible for the production and administration of keys. If you have problems with your key or you need to have your access extended, contact the Caretaker's Office. If you lose your key, a loss report must be made immediately to the caretaker's office. Your key needs to be updated every 14 days and the update is done at charging stations located inside each main entrance. If the battery stops working in your key, you can turn to the Service Center who will help you with the replacement of the battery in your key.
