Management Council
The Management Council is a supportive and advisory body for the University Management that handles overarching strategic issues and principled positions regarding education and research issues.
Mission
The Management Council is a forum for education and research issues at Mid Sweden University. The Council's task is to ensure that key strategic decisions are handled in an early and well-prepared manner. The Management Council does not make decisions. Decisions is made by the Vice-Chancellor in consultation with the Management Council.
For larger issues, members of the Management Council form temporary working groups for a shorter or longer period of time. The working groups prepare and are responsible for the issue at the meetings of the Management Council.

Proceduaral matters or cases are emailed to the administrative support no later than 2 weeks before the meeting. Completed missives must always accompany the case file.
