Completion of Studies Ceremony
The Completion of Studies Ceremony is an opportunity for us to thank you for your time as a student here with us and to wish you good luck! The Completion of Studies Ceremony is organized by Mid Sweden University and the Student unions in Sundsvall and Östersund.
The Completion of Studies Ceremony is offered at the end of each semester. To these ceremonies we invite all graduating students at Mid Sweden University.
During the Completion of Studies Ceremony, we celebrate our graduating students with speeches and music. Most of the ceremony will be in Swedish, but parts of the program will also be in English.
This Ceremony is for students only, please note that it is not possible to bring relatives or friends to the Ceremony.
Time and location
June 5 at 9.30–11.00 am. Mingle from 9.30. The ceremony starts at 10.00.
Sundsvall: Grönborg (house A), and Östersund: Ljushallen, house G and then in F214.
Program
Speeches by Mid Sweden University representatives, the Student Union, and the municipality, as well as entertainment. See detailed programs for each campus below. The speeches will be held in Swedish and partly in English.
Live broadcast
We want as many people as possible to be able to participate on this day. Therefore, we will broadcast the Ceremony from Grönborg in Sundsvall, live via Mid Sweden University’s YouTube channel.
Please note that no degree certificates will be handed out on this occasion. If you have completed your studies and wish to obtain your degree certificate, you can apply for it here
