Drop in at the Makerspace – mend clothes
Every Tuesday in February, you as a student or employee are warmly welcome to our Makerspace. Different themes every Tuesday. This time you can mend clothes- take what you want to mend or resew. There is help available!
We hold a recycling workshop for students and employees where you get the chance to fix your old clothes. The clothing industry requires a lot of energy and resources, so we think the clothes should last a long time. Your old t-shirt may not be so nice anymore, but you can fix it. Maybe you want to print something new on it, resew it, repair a hole or sew a nice hat out of it instead.
Together we give each other tips and ideas. There is a sewing machine and embroidery machine on site, but you are welcome to bring a machine! Bring what you want to spruce up, or cook! There will be coffee!
How do you find the Makerspace?
The Makerspace is located at the far end of Sidvallsgatan, the back of building D and opposite the student housing K2.
